Our story, and the people in it.
How CAE grew from one mom's search for answers into a team that builds what families need: clinicians, navigators and regular parents, many of us raising neurodivergent kids ourselves.

A mother building the thing she needed and couldn't find.
In 2024 I was riding an escalator in Detroit and turned to my husband:
“Do you think families would want an autism navigator? Not just someone who tells you what services your kid needs, but someone who actually finds them, like a recruiter, or a concierge.”
That question became Oak & Hive Consulting, and later CAE.
After my own family's diagnosis, I hit the same wall most parents hit: a report full of recommendations and no one whose job it was to actually help me with any of it. It became a full-time job, and one I was winging every single day. I kept thinking, “Why isn't there someone to help me?” So I built the role that was missing.
Oak & Hive Consulting is where it started: one-on-one navigation, side by side with families and the providers who serve them. As more families found us, a community grew around the work, and we needed a name big enough to hold all of it. That name became Collective Autism Experience. Collective, for the whole spectrum and the network of providers who care for it. Experience, for every child and every family living it. Together, that's CAE.
Patient navigation has been standard of care in oncology for years, because the data proved that having someone dedicated to coordinating care changes outcomes. Autism & ADHD families haven't had that same standard of care. So we built it.
Nikki's son is diagnosed with autism, and she goes looking for the support she needed.
Personalized guidance, trusted provider connections and inclusive community partnerships, built to bridge the gap between diagnosis and support.
Parent and provider communities take root, and a growing team of navigators, coaches and clinicians comes together.
Bloom Behavior Consulting's parent coaching and education resources come together with CAE.
Bloom Behavior Consulting is now part of CAE.
Bloom started in March 2025 with one idea: parents deserve practical training and real education the moment a diagnosis lands. Ramsee and Bekah built Bloom's parent coaching and education resources to do exactly that.
Now those resources have joined CAE, alongside our navigators and community team. Together, they make the comprehensive care team we have today.

The people in your corner.
Our navigators, coaches, clinicians and community coordinators help families find the right people, services and support.

Nikki is a mom of two, both diagnosed with autism and ADHD, and is neurodivergent herself, with ADHD. She's a clinical psychologist, coach and entrepreneur who has spent her career building things that didn't exist yet.

She holds a Master's in Leadership Development and a PhD in Clinical Psychology, and has worked with clients one-on-one, in groups, and in corporate settings as a coach, educator, and workshop facilitator. Her work has always been about building communities, programs, and platforms that meet people exactly where they are.
Because she's neurodivergent herself, she's not just building for autism and ADHD families from the outside — she knows what it's like to navigate a world that wasn't built for your brain. When her son was diagnosed in 2022, and her daughter in 2026, all of her experience found its truest purpose. Nikki brings compassion, strategy, and a passion for helping others see all that is possible.
Outside of work, Nikki lives just outside Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband Jarrod and their two kids. You'll usually find her with a good book, building the perfect charcuterie board, dreaming up her next home design project, or squeezing in a workout in her home gym.

Ramsee is a mom who has ADHD herself, giving her both a professional and personal appreciation for the many ways neurodivergent brains experience the world. She's a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, educator and parent coach who helps families understand the “why” behind behavior.

Since entering the field of behavior analysis in 2016, she has worked with neurodivergent children and their families across clinical, educational, and community settings.
At CAE, Ramsee serves as Director of Training and Development, creating education and resources that turn complex information about autism and ADHD, behavior, development, and parenting into practical strategies families can use in everyday life. She is passionate about helping parents understand what may be happening beneath behavior, recognize the skills their child is still developing, and feel more confident deciding how to support them.
She believes good education shouldn't leave families with more jargon. It should leave them understanding their child better and knowing what to do next.
Outside of work, Ramsee loves gardening, traveling, spending time with her family, Disney, and rarely goes very far without a Diet Coke.

Bekah Black is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, parent coach, and clinical leader whose career has spanned direct clinical care, staff development, clinical leadership, and multi-site operations.
