values & approach
What we believe, and how we work.
Families trust us with big decisions. We share our values and our practices openly because your trust is the foundation of everything we build.
core values
What guides everything we do.
01
Human-Centered Care
We see the whole person, not just the diagnosis.
02
Neuro-Affirming Practice
We celebrate neurodiversity and honor each person's communication styles, sensory needs, and strengths.
03
Collaboration Over Silos
We believe no one should navigate autism alone.
04
Compassion With a Backbone
We lead with empathy while holding firm boundaries that protect families, providers, and our mission.
05
Integrity in Action
We follow through, show up, and do what we say.
06
Belonging
We create a space where every family and provider feels seen, valued, and connected.
our commitments
What you can always count on.
No pay-to-play. Ever.
CAE does not receive monetary kickbacks, referral fees, or incentives from any provider. No one pays to be listed, and no one can pay to be recommended. Directory inclusion is earned or established through relationship, not purchased.
Families pay us, and only us.
Our only revenue from navigation comes from the families we serve. That keeps our loyalty where it belongs: with your family.
Prices up front.
Every service lists its price on our site, so you can decide what fits before we ever get on a call. No surprise fees.
Every provider is vetted.
We verify credentials, look for neuro-affirming practice, review quality, and check real availability and insurance before we hand you a name. And we keep reviewing after they're listed.
People first, technology second.
We use secure internal software and AI tools to stay organized and work faster for you. But every plan and recommendation is reviewed and finalized by a real person on our team. How we use AI
You make the decisions.
We bring options, context and a recommendation. You know your child best, and the choice is always yours.
Built by people who've been there.
CAE was founded by an autism mom, and many of our team members are parents of neurodivergent kids or neurodivergent themselves.
what CAE is

- A medical, diagnostic or therapy provider
- A substitute for advice from your child's doctors or clinicians
- Legal or financial advice
- A guarantee of a provider opening, a benefits approval or an outcome
- In control of outside providers' availability, scheduling or waitlists
